Magic

Just a little thought for the people that are outside, in the streets, every day of the year, but particularly today. A little prayer. An intention of tenderness.

A little thought for the senior people that are alone in their room.

To the kids that are spending this night at the hospital and their parents.

One for the people that are simply alone, with their family far away. A thought for you that doesn’t have your kiddo cause its not your week-end.

A little thought for you that doesn’t feel like posting an instagram pic of a Christmas tree, haha, yep!

Or simply doesn’t like the classic same Christmas song that are everywhere.

To all of you, that feel different. To all of us that live the struggle, and just wanna hide during this period of time.

Well….let’s just take a deep breath…together. Being a part is the biggest illusion of these days, cause we are all in the same boat, maybe experiencing life differently but at the end of the day, essentially the same…so please, breathe in and let go of the anxiety, let go of the stress, of the endless wish list, and just enjoy your breath. One at the time.

Since when a holiday is so important that she influences you to stop breathing? go into debt? loose your marbles?

I feel like I wanna make my own definition of this Holiday. I wanna celebrate my friends. My mom. My dad. My mentors. My teachers. I wanna look into your eyes and say I see you. I see your struggle, your victories, your sadness, your laughters, I see you and I love you.

I wanna slow down and treat my body with softness, play with a light spirit, like a child. I wanna connect with the full expression of my breath.

Since young we’ve been taught to have a wish list, do you remember your letters to Santa Claus? haha Today, its all about the intentions, and don’t get me wrong, intentions are essential. But coming back to that wish list, what I didn’t realize when younger, is that a wish list exists cause there’s a certain emptiness, a hole to fill in. What if all of this wishing isn’t adequate anymore?

What if we stop looking to life through the lens of need and wishing? What if all we need is already here?

What if the only thing we really need is to be seen, recognized by another heart? What if the only thing we really need is to see ourselves through the lens of love, compassion and acceptance? What if the best gift to give yourself is to unplug and sit, alone, hear your breath……

What if this holiday is nothing else than taking the time to sit with your favorite people in the world and share a moment together….Communion face to face, not behind the screens. So If you have favorite humans and they are reachable, reach out. Go, take your arms around them and become the best Christmas hugger.

If you don’t have anyone, let me tell you, you are not alone, even if all the physical circumstances make you believe that, its not real. Sometimes our brains are not trustable and when we really take a good look, there’s always someone to see us. Maybe nothing is like we planned. Maybe nothing is perfect. Maybe we are not where we wanted to be. But at the end, thats just the brain chitchatting inside of your head.

The biggest distance sometimes is to walk from the head to the heart, and that’s the path to real happiness. So dive into your heart, close your eyes and free fall…..and you’ll find that you’re not alone, really, your heart is there.

Merry Christmas to all of you.

Love
